Burt family photograph album, 1912-1914.

Photograph album belonging to a member of the Burt family of Randolph, Vermont. The album contains photographs of the farm house and the surrounding area, and includes group pictures of the Burt family. Only one family member is identified: Margaret Burt (b. 1891), the daughter of Walter and Sarah (Norton) Burt. There are also photographs of family outings to Saint Albans, Bethel, and Brookfield (including a photograph of the floating bridge). There is also a series of photographs documenting a family trip on Lake Champlain on the Ticonderoga Steamship in 1912. Of special interest is a photograph of Theodore Roosevelt in Randolph, Vermont in 1912 during his presidential campaign. The album also contains several holiday cards, including two valentines, a fragment of a letter addressed to "Florence", and some images of Lake Memphremagog and Georgeville, Québec clipped from a travel brochure, with hand-written notations about a trip that was taken in a house boat.
